Hello,
I came across your website whilst researching local food growers in the South West. I work for the Community Composting Network and we have recently received some funding from Big Lottery Local Food for our Community Composting for Local Food project. The aim of the project is to improve food growers composting knowledge and skills so that their crops can benefit from high quality locally produced compost. We’re offering an accredited training course which will initially be free and will be delivered by a local training hub. We’re holding 9 free seminars across England to promote the project and tell growers about the great training course Liz (our trainer), is putting together! The seminar promises to be jam packed with information and inspirational ideas.
We’re holding one in Exeter at Embercombe on Tuesday 20th March 12-4pm, which i thought someone from Transition Exeter might be interested in attending? Please email me back to book a place or if you have any questions, we want to get as many food growers along as possible!
