Exeter 2012 : Food, Farming and Land Use : What is Going on?

A series of talks exploring land-use in Exeter’s surrounding countryside organised by the Food Group of Transition Exeter

Thursday 09 February at 7pm, Jury’s Inn, Western Way, Exeter

“Young farmers farming around Exeter”
Russell Carrington (Transition Farms Herefordshire), Chris Berry (Kennford) and Sam Ursell (Just Us Organic, Tedburn St Mary)
 Thursday 12 April at 7pm, Jury’s Inn, Western Way Exeter
“Small holders, fruit growers, allotment holders around Exeter”
Jyoti Fernandez (Five Penny Farm and “The Land” magazine) and others

The final two talks in the series will be on Thursdays 10 May and 14 June. Details in the February TE newsletter. To defray costs these events will be by ticket @ £3/£2 for each meeting. Please arrive promptly. There is maximum seating for 60. We leave the room by 9pm but the Jury’s Inn Bar will be open to mid-night for continued debate, networking and relaxation……
