For those of us who do not know much about the old traditions of wassailing, Jo Cotter, from organicARTS West Town Farm, has kindly offered to assist us with some songs, mulled apple juice and banging on pots and pans to help our young trees to grow strong and bear lots of fruit in the coming year!  If the weather is very bad we will have to cancel. Please keep an eye on your emails or call Lucy on 07948 399 872 if in doubt.    Bring a picnic.   Look forward to seeing you there!

Potato Harvesting this coming Saturday 4th August

This coming Saturday we will be lifting our first potatoes.  Please come and help in this joyous occasion!!!!   If possible, bring your own bags for produce.
Potatoes are late in being lifted  as there was not enough labour to get the first earlies (Maris Bard) up at the end of June and then blight in July that caught both first and second earlies (Charlotte), meaning they have had to stay an extra two weeks under ground.

Harvesting: There  is much on the field to harvest – broad beans, peas, chard, beet root, lettuce, etc … lovely flowers too,
and very soon … tomatoes from the poly tunnel.
